Questions
Windows says it protected my PC when I run the installer
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" for new programs it hasn't seen many times yet. Choose More info, then Run anyway. The Microsoft Store edition, coming soon, won't show this at all.
How do I get Pro after paying?
Your key appears on screen as soon as the payment goes through, and we email it to you too. In Filixir, open Settings › Filixir Pro › Enter a key and paste it.
I've lost my key
Go to Your keys and enter the email address you paid with. We'll email you a link that shows every key bought with it.
Can I use my key on more than one PC?
Yes, on your own PCs. Filixir checks the key on your computer, so it keeps working offline.
Which Windows does it need?
Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, on a 64-bit PC. It installs for your account only, without asking for an administrator password.
Do I need the original programs?
No. Filixir reads the files itself. For old documents and some old videos it uses free add-ons (LibreOffice and VLC), which it offers to download from their makers the first time you need them.
What if a file doesn't open?
Email hello@filixir.app and say which program made it. Formats are added in the order people need them; the full list shows what works today and what's coming.
